Affiliate Disclosure
Transparency matters to us. This page explains exactly how ScoutSort earns money and what that means for you.
We may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through links on this website at no additional cost to you.
How affiliate links work
ScoutSort is a reader-supported publication. Some of the links on our site are "affiliate links." If you click one and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer or affiliate network. This comes out of the retailer's margin — you never pay more because you used our link.
Which programs we participate in
We participate in affiliate programs operated through networks and retailers such as Amazon Associates, Awin, CJ Affiliate, Impact, Partnerize, Rakuten Advertising, ShareASale and FlexOffers, among others. When you click an outbound product link, it may be tracked through one of these programs.
How this affects our content
It doesn't affect our verdicts. We select, test and rank products independently, and no brand can pay for a better score or placement. We recommend products because our testing shows they're worth buying — not because of the commission they pay. Read our editorial policy for the full details of our independence.
Why we use affiliate links
Affiliate commissions fund the products we buy for testing and the time our editors spend reviewing them. This model lets us keep our content free for readers and free of intrusive advertising, while remaining independent of any single brand.
